Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the shapeID mobile app, shapeID scanning experiences, and shapeid.io.

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. Operators and agreement

shapeID is jointly operated by adlerlagune OG, Seitenstettengasse 5/37, 1010 Vienna, Austria, and Constantin Luckenbach, Auf dem Kreuz 24, 72076 Tübingen, Germany. By creating an account or using shapeID, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old. If local law requires parental or guardian authorization, you may use shapeID only after receiving it. You must be legally permitted to use the service in your country.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping access to your Apple account and device secure and for information submitted through your shapeID account. Do not share a redemption code or authentication QR code with someone who is not authorized to use it. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. 3D scans and fit information

shapeID may provide 3D body representations, previews, and estimated measurements. Results can vary because of clothing, pose, scanner conditions, processing, and other factors. They are provided for fashion, fit, identity, and visualization experiences only. They are not medical measurements, diagnoses, or health advice. Always verify critical sizing or safety decisions independently.

You may use scans associated with your account for personal, lawful purposes. You must have the necessary rights and consent for any image, scan, or local file you open or submit, especially if it depicts another person.

5. Deals, rewards, and events

Deals and event rewards may be provided by shapeID or an identified partner. Eligibility can depend on time, location, event attendance, stock, account status, or chance. Unless stated otherwise, rewards have no cash value, are not transferable, and may be subject to partner terms. Availability is not guaranteed. We may correct technical errors, duplicate grants, fraud, or clearly incorrect eligibility results to the extent permitted by law.

6. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use shapeID unlawfully, fraudulently, or to violate another person’s rights.
  • Attempt to access another account, bypass eligibility rules, or manipulate a reward or redemption.
  • Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Upload malware, harmful code, or content you do not have permission to use.
  • Use another person’s scan or identity information without valid consent.

7. Intellectual property

shapeID and its licensors retain all rights in the app, website, branding, software, design, and service content. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service as intended under these terms. You retain rights you lawfully hold in content you provide.

8. Third-party services and links

shapeID relies on platform and infrastructure providers and may link to partner shops, maps, event pages, or other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for third-party content or transactions, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

9. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, add, or remove features and may suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or misuse prevention. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Features marked “coming soon”, experimental, or preview may change or be withdrawn.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using shapeID at any time and request account deletion through Support. We may restrict or terminate access where you materially breach these terms, create security or legal risk, or misuse the service. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, and injury to life, body, or health. For ordinary negligence, liability is limited to foreseeable damage caused by breach of an essential contractual duty. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

12. Governing law

Austrian law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available in their country of residence. Statutory rules on venue remain unaffected.

13. Changes and contact

We may update these terms for legal, security, or service changes. The current version and effective date will remain available here. For questions, contact hi@adlerlagune.com or c@luckenbach.io.
